Christian Louboutin’s shoes are not merely shoes. Depending on how you look at it, they can be art, or a representation of an orgasm or even a weapon (at least according to the TSA—remember how they tried to confiscate some guy’s studded loafers?) Ranging from prim and ladylike to downright fetishistic, the Louboutin shoe is undoubtedly a conversation piece. Photographer Fulvio Bonavia’s shoot ‘Food Dresses’ for Garage Magazine (which we saw on Fashion Copious) brings together two of our favorite things: Food. And Dresses. (Duh). More specifically, the shoot features dresses by Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Moncler, which were created by an artful (and painstakingly arranged) array of foodstuffs including lettuce, oranges, anchovies and walnuts.
